This class meets daily during 2nd hour (8:48-9:34) in room 222.

Research/Multi-Genre Steps and Due Dates

3/30 Formulate your initial research question or thesis statement.
3/31 Locate ten scholarly sources.
4/1 Finalize your thesis statement or research question.
4/1 Make ten bibliography cards.
4/8 Read your sources, creating 50 note cards. (Average of five cards per source.)
4/13-14 Make a draft of your annotated Bibliography and conference over it.
4/15 Make a final draft of your annotated Bibliography
4/25-26 Create a draft of your paper that is at least six pages in length. Conference over draft one.
4/28-29 Create a draft of your paper that is at least eight pages in length. Conference over draft two.
5/4-5 Create a final draft that is at least ten pages in length. Conference over draft three.
5/6 Create your MLA formatted Works Cited page.
5/16-17 Create and conference over five pages of the multi-genre portion of your paper.
5/23 Create and conference over the remaining five pages of the multi-genre portion of your paper.
5/24-25 Conference over the entire research paper.
5/26 Entire Research/Multi-Genre Paper
5/27 Portfolio Due
